The Toyota GZ engine family currently consists of one engine, the 1GZ-FE. Its sole use is as the powerplant for the Japan market only Toyota Century Limousine from 1997 onward.

1GZ-FE


The 1GZ-FE is a 5.0 L (4996 cc) V12 engine 48-Valve DOHC engine with variable valve timing (VVT-i). Bore is 81 mm and stroke is 80.8 mm, with a Compression ratio of 10.5:1. Output is 280 hp (210 kW) at 5200 Revolutions per minute with 355 lb·ft (481 N·m) of Torque at 4000 rpm. The fuel system is a Fuel injection (Electronic Fuel Injection) system controlled by two Electronic control unit (one for each bank of cylinders).

One notable use of this engine has been by the Top Secret (company) in a custom 950 hp (710 kW) Toyota Supra.[1]
